District 5030 Peace Awards

THROUGH OUR SERVICE PROJECTS, PEACE FELLOWSHIPS, AND SCHOLARSHIPS, OUR MEMBERS ARE TAKING ACTION TO ADDRESS THE UNDERLYING CAUSES OF CONFLICT, INCLUDING POVERTY, INEQUALITY, ETHNIC TENSION, LACK OF ACCESS TO EDUCATION, AND UNEQUAL DISTRIBUTION OF RESOURCES.

Nominate a Club for the
District 5030 Peace Award
The District 5030 Peace Awards for Rotary, Rotaract and Interact Clubs are intended to honor clubs that have made a significant difference in promoting peace locally or internationally. To nominate a Club, please complete and submit this form.

1. How does your Rotary, Rotaract or Interact club help make peace happen? Tell us about your Club’s efforts in providing opportunity or assistance in conflict resolution to populations or groups in need.  Tell us how your project addresses one or more of the areas below. 
 

  • Poverty/access to economic opportunity

  • Ethnic tension

  • Education

  • Unequal distribution of resources

  • Hopelessness (Mental Health, bullying, suicide)

2. What is the impact of your project? What are the tangible results? How many people are impacted? Please be as quantitative as possible.

3. Are your results sustainable? Will the results of your efforts last without unending input or support? 

4. How does your project use networking and/or partnerships in order to leverage your Club's efforts? Describe how you have engaged other Rotary clubs and/or organizations in reaching your goals.
